Nora’s Printing Machinery

This is our Kyocera TASKalfa Printer. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to purchase another printer. This one is able to print what we currently need. The cartridges are very expensive. Nora’s books are filled with color, so we’ll be going through cartridges at a rapid rate. FYI. All of Nora’s books and covers are now stored in our printer’s memory. Now at merely the push of a button, out comes as many books as we desire.

This is our Rayson Thermal hot glue binding machine. It was only available from China. A very efficient machine. Mostly manual. Glue goes into the center tank (where the two rollers are). The glue is heated. The inside of the book is squeezed into the claws on the left. The cover is placed on the tray on the right. The inside is then slid across the glue rollers onto the spine then onto the cover. A handle is activated whereby securing the cover the the inside pages. Perfect!

This is our guillotine. After the pages are printed and after the inside has been mated with the cover, there will be a certain amount of trimming to make the new book look professional. This guillotine has no problem cutting up to 50 pages.
